"Snails and Other Forgotten Things" is a whimsical sculpture series that shines a light on the quiet lives of overlooked creatures and everyday objects. Each snail carries a shell made from a repurposed item—things once discarded, now reimagined as tiny homes. Through this transformation, the sculptures breathe new life into forgotten materials and invite us to pause, reflect, and appreciate the hidden beauty in the ordinary. This series is created using assemblage—a technique where found objects are collected, altered, and combined into something entirely new. The work sparks conversations about sustainability, waste, and our relationship with the natural world. It’s an invitation to slow down and see the world a little differently.
